Our Mission
Welcome to the Sunshine Coast Freedivers Club Inc, the ultimate destination for freediving enthusiasts. Our club is dedicated to promoting safe freediving practices, providing training, education, and fostering a community of passionate underwater explorers. Join us in our mission to explore the depths responsibly and enjoy the beauty of the underwater world.
Who can train with us?
What's required?
Freediving Certification
To train with the Sunshine Coast Freedivers Club you must be 18 years or older and have completed at least Day 1 of a Freediving Course from a recognised agency. You will also be required to complete a Club Safety Induction, held on the first Tuesday of each month.
Still Unsure?
Have A Go Membership
A "Have A Go" membership is a great way to dip your toe in the pool and check us out in action. Have A Go memberships are valid for two weeks and covers your insurance to train with the club. You will also be required to complete a Club Safety Induction, held on the first Tuesday of each month.
Got that, what's next?
Memberships
Everyone wishing to train & partake in Club activities must be current financial members of the Sunshine Coast Freedivers Club (SCFC) and the Australian Freediving Association (AFA). Join us for expert training sessions to enhance your skills and confidence in the water.

Meet the Trainer
Ryan Archbold is a highly experienced Trainer, Coach & PADI Freedive Instructor.
Under his expert tutelage our club members are able to train and explore their freediving capabilities & limits in a safe and supportive environment. He is always there for us with great freediving advice and constructive critiquing.
